Ok, I have to reply this way, cause DA isn't letting me reply to your last post, so sorry!

Anyways, for one thing, a screenplay, or a movie, is both easier and harder to get to the main point of the story. On the one hand, there's no room for those inconsequential details that bog down books and slow arrival at the "point" but on the other hand, it's sometimes a little hard to figure out where certain information goes to help the viewer understand the "point". I'm still trying to learn more about it, reading a few screenwriting books and stuff.

Another major difference is of course the format of a screenplay. Boy that took me a while to get used to, but it's like writing plain text for me now, easy as pie. Just took a little practice.

I think the biggest problem for me is I keep coming up with new ideas, both big and small for the story, and I have to try to figure out how to integrate them into the movie.
